Although most of Barefoot Scuba's diving is done off small traditional Burmese fishing boats called Dungis, that are modified to suit diving purposes and travel at about 8 knots, the introduction of our 2 larger more comfortable boats, ‘Valsa’ and ‘Laxmi’ this season comes as an added advantage. Divers looking for a bit more comfort and those looking to go off the beaten the track can now join us on our special dive safaris.
Our dive safaris are magical as guests will be treated to beautiful reefs that are usually not usually possible to dive on day trips. Dive safaris will involve 3 dives per day with overnight camping in tented accommodation on other Islands in the Andamans. It’s a great way to enjoy the best of both worlds!
Choose between a 2 day/1 night trip to Long Island with 6 dives included or be more adventurous and opt for our 4 days/3 nights trip with 10 dives included to the stunning reefs of North Andaman.
